* needs to be allowed inside with the family
Delta is a sweetheart who is currently wary and nervous of humans. Her foster family are gradually making good progress with increasing her confidence around people. Delta will need a kind and patient owner, committed to building her trust.
Delta enjoys the company of other dogs and will flourish with another friendly dog to help build her trust and confidence with her new furever humans. She is not tested with cats.
Young children are not suited as Delta is too scared of their exuberant energy. Older children (teens) who can respect her need for space and treat her with kindness would be fine.
Delta is very happy to just lay around in the sun or to play with her 2 fur sisters for short periods, but then is just as happy to sit and watch them run around until they are done.
Delta is living on 4 acres with no real fencing and has shown no sign of wanting to run off, but if on a suburban block, a 5ft fenced yard will keep her safe.
She takes treats gently from the hand and sits for her food. Her foster carers are working on her toilet training. She is currently scared of the lead and will need patience while getting used to it.
Delta's ideal home has kind, patient adults and another fur friend to help show her that not all humans are cruel and to help her build her confidence. She is ok home alone with other fur friends for extended periods and comes running with tail wagging when you arrive home.
