About Boo
All About Me and My Unique Personality:
Hi. I’m Boo!! My foster Mum calls me Boo Boo. I am extremely shy at first around new people. It took 2 weeks before I felt comfortable enough with my foster Mum to come out of my hiding hole for pats. Now that I know I am safe and I can trust my foster Mum, I am all cuddles. I love getting pats and will even let you rub my belly. I will make a great companion for someone that has the patience to wait for me to get comfortable. I will always be a scaredy cat when I meet new people, but for those that I know and trust, I am extremely affectionate.
My Ideal Home:
I would be suited to a quiet household. Loud noises can sometimes startle me. I am getting better, but can still get spooked sometimes.
What is Known About My Background:
I was a reluctant surrender due to no fault of my own. My previous owner was unable to keep me due to her living arrangements that would not change in the foreseeable future. So I came into HAR care and went for a vet visit to get checked over and for my yearly vaccination. That is when they discovered that my teeth were quite bad. I have had to have all my teeth from the K9’s back extracted on both sides. I have been a very brave boy, although the pain medication does help. The vet also cleaned and polished the teeth that I have left. This will not affect my eating at all the vet tells me.
How Do I Interact with Kids, Dogs, Cats and Other Pets:
My foster Mum hasn’t seen me interact with kids. I don’t think young children who don’t understand how scared I can be sometimes will be suitable.
I don’t mind the small cat friendly dogs. Not so fond of the big loud dogs though.
I get along extremely well with other cats although I do like all the attention on me.
