If you answer yes to these requirements please read further.
George is a very intelligent boy who needs a patient, understanding home.
He does suffer from some anxiety which is evident when he's left alone or locked outside and he will pace and whine. He needs a lot of exercise but also need activities and challenges to help keep his mind active and to help him relax. He lived with another dog before coming to us and while he's been in our care he's shown to be good with other dogs, having a suitable canine companion in his home will help with his anxiety so this is a must. He won't cope in a home where his people are at work or out of the house for long periods of time.
He's a cuddly/affectionate boy who needs a home where he's allowed indoors where he's part of the family and will need to be able to sleep inside so he feels secure. He is well behaved indoors and loves being near his people.
He knows basic commands, walks well on lead and is a very well mannered boy, but he still likes to have fun and he gets excited when it times to play.
He does have some allergies which cause him to scratch but it seems to be controlled with a specific diet.
Not tested with cats or small animals.
Older or no children preferred.
If you can offer the type of home described we'd love to hear from you please email us at pyreneesanimalrescue@gmail.com for more information or an adoption application
Adoption details
If you think one of our animals would be a good match for your home please email us and we will be in touch shortly after. We all work fulltime, have families and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require any other dogs in your home meeting our foster animal before they head home with you. This enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care, this is a condition of our Adoptions.
