🍳😽💜 MEET KABIBE! 💜😽🍳
Well, helloooo there, what's cookin', good lookin'? How you doinnnn?... Oh, wait, it's me looking in the mirror again! Don't you just hate it when that happens?!
How are you all, my little chickens? Thanks for dropping by. Please, take a seat and let me introduce myself. My name is Kabibe, but my friends call me Bibi - like a buzzy little bee, buzzz buzzz! I'm sure my beautiful looks stopped you in your tracks, right? I know, I'm a natural beauty. I'm not even wearing any makeup! But there's more to me than just my incredible good looks, I have a personality to match! What can I say? I'm just blessed. If you don't believe me, let me introduce myself a bit more!
Nature
I'm a very shy girl but I have the kindest and most gentle soul you will ever meet. Not much is known about my past, only that I was found living with a colony of cats, so my kitty skills are pretty great! My people skills on the other hand... not so much. I'm not mean or anything I'm just purr-etty terrified of them. They're big and tall and loud and scary. I am ever so slowly learning to trust my foster hoomans, though. In fact, when they give me food I am really trusting! Even though I'm a little on the timid side, I make up for it with my beautiful personality. And it also helps that my face is sheer perfection. I mean, have you seen it? I'm pretty much a supermodel! I don't mean to toot my own horn but... Beep beep!
Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
Since being in foster care I have been surrounded by a number of other foster kitties and have got on well with them. I am always very interested when one of them walks by or comes to say hello. I'm very gentle and respectful with my foster siblings except for the mean one I live with. She's a bit of a bully. I'm not a fan of her and when she comes near me I hiss at her until she leaves me alone, but I promise you I'm absolutely fine with the friendly ones!
My foster parents aren't sure if I've met dogs or children before but think I would do better with the older and more gentle ones that will treat me kindly and respect my boundaries whilst I settle into my new environment. The most important thing is that our introduction is slow and controlled to give everyone the chance to adjust.
Likes / Dislikes
You might be surprised to learn that a little lady like me is a HUGE foodie! Seriously, the way to this girls' heart is through her belly! Thankfully I was blessed with good genes - it doesn't matter how much I eat, I just don't seem to put on weight. Maybe that's why my foster sister is so mean to me?
It's a tricky question but, I guess, if I had to pick my favourite food it would be chicken. Oooh, or cat milk. Or those Dine Creamy treats. Have you tried them? They are diviiiine!
I'm a really big fan of playing hide and seek. My foster mama says if hiding was an Olympic sport I'd win first, second AND third place, but I've yet to see any sign of a medal. I only hide because domesticated life can be pretty overwhelming at times. My foster parents are certain that once I settle into my new digs I will relax and then only play hide and seek for funsies!!
I've started to really enjoy pats and ear scratches and I'm on the path to being a real super-dooper smoocher! I'm still not certain of a lot of things; loud noises, sudden movements, mean kitties.. but my foster mama says I'll gain my confidence once I'm in the right environment and then I won't be such a scaredy-cat anymore!
Medical notes
My PURR-fect home would be with a loving family in a peaceful environment to allow me to grow and build up my confidence. I would need them to understand that it could take weeks, or even months before I really settle into my new life and they'd need to trust that I will get there in my own time - I promise I am worth the wait. A friendly feline or two would be a bonus to help make me feel more at home but, so long as there is endless amounts of love to go around, I'll be a happy little vegemite!
