About Edith
Hello there dears, my name is Edith.
I am a very sweet girl looking for a new home. I am a very shy gal, and as such I am looking for a nice calm home to call my own.
I tend to be easily overwhelmed so my new home will need to be calm and quite, not have any boisterous dogs or children. I would be okay with teenagers who are old enough to understand that I need my space.
I get along well with other cats and I am very social, I would definitely benefit from being in a home with another confident cat who can show me the ropes and help me to settle in.
I really am the sweetest little soul and I so deserve a second chance, I just need that special someone to see past my shyness and see how wonderful I am, and that I just need a little TLC in my life.
If you think that I could be the purrfect addition to your home and family call BARC on (03) 54412209 to book your essential meet and greet appointment.
Please note that we will not be accepting appointments from stage 4 lock down areas and may not be in a position to respond to all email inquiries.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
