About Amelie ~ 3mo Kelpie X (On Trial 28/10/20)
Meet the beautiful Amelie, shes a 12week old Kelpie X. Our stunning Amelie is your typical active kelpie pup. Amelie is a gentle soul, full of beans and always on the go. However, this lovely girl has decided that she doesn't like bindis in her soft little pads and will tiptoe through, ever so gently, when she comes across any. Amelie's sister Cassia, is a tad tougher.
Before applying for these gorgeous pups, they would like you to consider:
-Have you thought about loving and caring for me for the next 12-15 years ?
-I am a furever dog not just a COVID dog
-I won’t be a puppy for long and will get up to mischief as I become a teenager. Are you ready for that?
-Have you thought about my extra puppy meals throughout the day?
-Will somebody be home more often than not to keep me socialised?
-Have you thought about my ongoing physical training and mental stimulation (enrichment games) so that I don't get bored and destructive?
-Will I have access to inside at all times to ensure that I am a part of your family?
Being under supervision also means I learn boundaries (crucial as I grow older) and means I am less likely to develop nuisance behaviours due to boredom.
We will grow up to be medium dogs and will need to attend puppy training classes and continue due to our size and breed. We are at the puppy stage where we are biting and chewing things so we need consistency in our training. We will also need a family that understands we will need a lot of exercise and mental stimulation or we will get bored.
We are very snuggly puppies who love our humans and would love to go to a home where we are welcomed inside. It would be great if someone worked part time in the household, particularly if there isn't another dog to hang out with. Secure 5-6ft fencing will be needed with no small gaps, unfortunately rural fencing (eg wire or mesh) is not suitable
For more information about this gorgeous pup not covered in her profile, please contact Anne at anne4drn@gmail.com . We are located at Singleton NSW (west of Newcastle NSW). You can also fill out the adoption questionnaire here https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
As we are not yet desexed, we are only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens areas as we will need to be returned to our vet for desexing when we are approximately 5 months old. I am NOT available for long distance or interstate adoption.
Amelie's adoption fee is $600 which covers my desexing, vaccination, microchipping, flea and worming treatments.
