Comet and Diesel are a bonded pair and will be adopted together. These besties are as sweet as they come. They are both young, playful, know basic commands and are toilet trained.
They are looking for a special person who will be understanding of their needs. They both have separation anxiety, but this is well managed by each others’ company. They will need someone who is home a lot, or can take them to work, and has a structured routine.
They know to sit and wait for their dinner and love snuggles and belly rubs. They are indoor/outdoor boys, and sleep soundly indoors in their crates. Being young, they still like to chew up the odd thing if they get bored, so Kongs, antlers and toys are a must. They need 6ft fences with no climbable areas.
Walks in a quiet areas are best as they can be dog reactive on-leash, but from a distance they are fine. Both are muzzle trained and wear one on walks. This is purely precautionary. Neither have ever caused any harm.
Comet is loyal and very clever. He’s a super happy boy who approaches life with extra zest. He can be a little dominant so will need a firm but kind leader. Comet loves fetch, playing with (and herding) Diesel and exploring.
Comet has epilepsy and needs daily meds, however he takes them like a champ and lives a normal life. He’s only had one seizure since going on meds 9 months ago. His separation anxiety must be well managed (also with meds) to ensure stress doesn’t bring on a seizure.
Now to our other gorgeous boy. Diesel is a big baby. Don’t let his tough guy looks fool you, he is as sooky as they come. He loves people and really wants to please. Due to his size and puppy exuberance, older kids 10+ would be best. Diesel is quite timid so a calm, quiet home would see him thrive.
He still has a cutie puppy face and he’s in lovely condition with a beautiful shiny coat. He loves his paddle pool and food.
Diesel is an absolute sweet heart. If you are sad, he will sense it and come and put his head on your lap. He’s very empathetic and kind. When he’s happy his whole body wags! It’s pretty cute, so prepare to fall in love! He has mastered the art of puppy dog eyes.
He would love to go to a home where he can be someone’s baby. He also loves sun baking and has a funny little whale song he sings while rolling around in the sun. He really is one of a kind.
Yes, this duo need someone extra special to give them their best lives, but their bond is beautiful to see, especially when they snuggle up together. They will keep you entertained with their funny antics and reward you ten times over with their love and loyalty.
Medical notes
Comet has epilepsy and needs daily meds. He also suffers from separation anxiety and it must be well managed (also with meds) to ensure stress doesn’t bring on a seizure.
