About Arlo
* Best suited to older children
* Friendly to other dogs
* Active & energetic
* May be able to live with a dog-savvy cat
* Manageable skin allergies
(hypoallergenic food and occassional steriod)
This handsome man is Arlo. He spends his days making everyone fall in love with him by flashing that award winning smile. He is friendly to everyone he meets, so much so that they may be at risk of a facefull of kisses when they enter the yard!
Arlo is a happy and energetic boy who loves the routine of a morning and evening walk. He walks nicely on lead with a harness, only pulling on occasion for exciting smells or to say hello to other dogs.
He loves car rides and will happily go with you anywhere. Adventuring is his favourite thing to do! If you're staying in, he also loves to play chasey and tug of war in the yard. When all the fun is over, he will happily snuggle up on his bed and snooze quietly. He is housetrained and understands basic commands.
Arlo is good with other dogs and loves to play, but he can sometimes get a little rough and forget to give the other dogs their space. He would benefit from play dates with other dogs to help him improve his manners. He would happily share his home with a dog of similar size and energy.
Arlo is fine to live with caged chooks, but has been untested with free range ones.
He is uncertain/scared around livestock and would need training not to bark and chase.
He could live with a confident and dog savvy cat if given an appropriate introduction and allowed time to settle in with his new feline friend.
If you're looking for an adorable, lovable goofball, who is unique and full of personality, then look no further, Arlo is the one for you!
