About Maple
Meet Maple!
She is a lively and highly intelligent dog, with lots of love and fun to share, with her furever family. Like most working breeds, she thrives on exercise, structure, using her mind and learning new tricks.
Maple is a very smart young pup, since being in foster care, she has learned to sit, stay, wait for a treat and she is now walking much better on a lead. Maple has also taught her foster brother (a kelpie mix) the joy of fetch! Fetch is her game, she would happily play it with you all day!
Maple is an indépendant young lady who likes her personal space. She enjoys a pat and a tummy rub, but isn't a huge snuggler!
Maple loves to run really fast and zoom around the yard. A nice walk in the morning and a 20 mins of fetch, helps her to burn some energy so she can focus on the other good stuff in a happy dogs day, snacking, sniffing and snoozing.
Maple would be best suited to a family without young children as she is still quite young and bouncy.
She is currently living in a family home (kids >13y) with two cats and a 2 year old Kelpie. She would prefer a home without cats, as she is tolerant of them - but they are not her favourite! She is ok with the other dogs she encounters on our walks and she enjoys having another dog in the house, but she would also also enjoy being the centre of attention too. She sleeps peacefully through the night and waits contently for you to wake up in the morning to start your day.
She is a great pup who is looking for a home who can provide her with daily exercise, mental stimulation and continued training. If this sounds like you, please let us know!

Adoption details
Please do not send an "Enquiry". Please instead follow the below steps:
Step 1: Fill in our application form with as much detail as possible - https://forms.gle/sPnL6QS2ik5A5XUR8
Step 2: If suitable, one of our foster carers will contact you via phone to further discuss the dog you have applied for and assess suitability. The same will also be done for other applicants.
Step 3: A meet and greet will then be organised so that you and the dog can meet.
Step 4: Once the meet and greet has been completed, if our team advises that you may be a suitable candidate you will then be required to submit a detailed written application (a template will be emailed to you) - we will then assess all applications and get back to you with an outcome. We may request a home inspection prior to finalising any application.
Dogs are offered for a trial period in new homes for 21 days before the adoption is confirmed.
No entire dogs will be re-homed under any circumstances.
