About Willow
IMPORTANT NOTES:-
Please only apply for Willow if you have another medium friendly and playful dog.
Willow is not suitable for apartment living as she will need some space to romp and play with her new fur sibling.
Unfortunately, we are unable to accept applicants from outside of NSW at this time with the exception of ACT
Profile
Willow is a super-sweet friendly girl who is waiting to shower you with love?? We are not really sure what Willow’s breed is probably a mix of Kelpie and Bull Arab but what we do know that she is sugar and spice and all things nice.
You may not be able to tell from her photos that she is a very dark brown rather than black, with white bib & dainty white paws.
Willow must be rehomed with another young, friendly, playful medium sized dog as she just loves to play and romp with other dogs and would love a canine friend to cuddle up to when the playing is over. Willow must get out for a long walk every day and also loves a play at the local dog park at the end of the walk.
She loves fielding for you, tug-of war and wrestling/zoomie games and loves to go on long bush walks and to the beach where she is able to go off leash always returning when called and is a natural swimmer. Willow must have a home where outdoor adventures to parks and the beach will continue to be a regular part of her life and she travels well in the car.
Willow also loves her humans so a home where she can be involved in family life is very important for Willow and as such will need a home where she is permitted inside at all times. She is such a cuddle bug so naturally a home where she is allowed to cuddle on the lounge of a night time and perhaps if she follows you into the bedroom Willow maybe able to worm her way onto your bed.
Willow walks well on lead and is friendly at the local dog park and has been no problem with introductions and can take no for an answer if a dog is not into playing with her.
Whilst Willow is an awesome young dog, she can still be a puppy at times, so a home who can set her up to succeed in this regard by giving her toys to chew on and not leave things lying around and of course give her exercise and mental stimulation on a daily basis.
Having a dark coloured coat means that Willow does get hot from time to time so her new owners are going to have to make sure that she always has plenty of access to shade and water when out and about and perhaps consider the time of day that you exercise Willow.
Her foster carer says that Willows is a wonderful dog that will continue to develop into a great dog with an owner who is able to continue to work with Willow with positive and consistent training methods to consolidate the good habits that her carers have put in place for this young pup star.
Willow will also need an owner that is not away for long periods.
Please note that we do not have an adoption application. After reading the profile, please send as much information as possible (via email sasrescue@gmail) about your family, lifestyle, working hours, location, and of course your other dog etc. so that we can see if you Willow are a good match. Please include your mobile no in this email.
