About:
Tiny, petite, pretty, sweet little Jane. She's only been in care a short while but she has had no trouble figuring out this new kind of life.
Upon her first proper introduction to her foster mum she marched right over, climbed on and curled up tight in her lap and was purring away in moments...far from the "timid" assessment she came with. She even gave the cat-loving 1 year old human a head bump upon meeting.
Jane has been on our radar for a while and we've watched her have litter after litter before she was finally given the chance at a better life. She has had 5 litters of beautiful kittens and has given her absolute all to them...even her chance at proper growth. Jane is a forever kitten and is literally half the size of her foster brother. When she came into care, she was also very skinny, dirty and flea ridden. A flea bath, spot on treatment and lots of quality food has seen to those issues quick smart, though there is still some room for her to bloom around the middle...
Jane likes to spend her days finding all the comfy cozy places to nap and sprawl out in bliss, and often come find the humans just to see what they're up to and maybe sneak a scratch or 3.
Jane was keen to make friends with her kitty foster brother right away but he took a little while to warm up to her. So sometimes she tries to remind him that she's not to be messed with by using some body language and the occasional slight grumble. More often than not though they are sharing the bed, sniffing noses and stealing each other's food. The cat-friendly resident staffy - Jane doesn't bat an eyelid at them. She grew up around dogs and cats so this is all old news.
Despite her adult age, Jane still loves a play and will bat, pounce and jump alongside her babies.
Jane has been gathering some body condition before ending her baby-making days for good, but she will be ready to join pretty much any suitable family after she's had some recovery time in her foster digs.
