About Freya DL2546
Freya is a friendly, dopey, and all around lovable girl who wants nothing more than to spend her days with you, curled up on the couch or playing in the garden.
Getting to know Freya:
Likes – chin scritches, rolling around on the lawn, paddle pool, treats, lazy days at home or going out to cafes and breweries with you, meeting new people.
Dislikes – baths (not fun like her paddle pool and she will talk back!), cats (too sneaky looking), being left out of the fun and adventures (FOMO).
Freya is friendly with everyone she meets; She doesn't jump up on visitors and has been gentle with kids as young as 9 months. She's not picky, pats are pats and it doesn't matter who she's getting them from. She loves to go wherever you do, especially dog friendly venues where she gets treats for how well behaved she is!
Freya is looking for a home where she can be your only dog. She seems to be good with other dogs, but is a bit socially awkward and doesn't quite know how to approach them, she tends to start with a commando crawl. She is usually non-reactive to dog barking (unless it's right up in her face), so you don't have to worry about her joining the Twilight Bark.
As she isn't comfortable being left home alone long hours, Freya is looking for someone who is home more often and can work on this with her. When you do have to duck out for a bit, she isn't destructive and mostly naps while you're away.
Freya has lovely house manners and can stay inside all night without an accident. She doesn't beg for your food, but will offer a paw for a treat, no matter which trick you're trying to work on!
If you'd love to meet Freya, email DFLadoption@gmail.com today to apply!
Medical notes
At 33kg, Freya is a medium to large sized dog. She has had skin cancers removed successfully, and has some remaining lumps that only require monitoring at this stage.
