About Audrey
Please email BRENDA first on rescuerambles92@gmail.com
IF THE AD DOES NOT HAVE ADOPTION PENDING, THE CAT IS AVAILABLE.
Audrey is an affectionate girl, although she can be a little bossy with other cats. Will accept a quiet cat friendly dog if introduced slowly and carefully. Due to her white nose and ears, she is not permitted to be out in the sun during the day due to the high risk of cancer. She has not been tried with children of any age.
Any potential adopter must physically meet Audrey before an adoption can proceed.
She is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and had a full dental procedure performed. Once a decision has been made to adopt Audrey, she will have a vet check and vaccination. A second vaccination will be required 4 weeks after the initial one to give adequate coverage for the common feline diseases.
Medical notes
A full dental has been performed. Audrey now has the two lower canine teeth left, so future dentals will not be expensive. Any potential adoptor needs to consider the fee I have paid already for this dental and factor that into account in her adoption fee. All you are contributing is $150 for something that cost way more than that. If you are put of by that, then perhaps re consider owning a pet of any sort. Vet fees are not cheap and pets, like children cost money.
Adoption details
All initial enquires must be sent to BRENDA at rescuerambles92@gmail.com.
Please provide details about what kind of home you are offering, if there are any other pets and what kind, ages of any children in the house if the cat is listed as being child friendly (Audrey is not child friendly) and what you are looking for in a cat's personality.
You must physically meet Audrey before an adoption can proceed. That means if you live too far away and are not prepared to visit, you will not be able to adopt her or any other cat.
The adoption fee partly covers the cost of desexing, vaccination, microchip, worming, flea preventative and dental work completed prior to adoption. It should not be compared to other organisations who receive regular donations from the public, sometimes running into the multi million dollar range. This rescue has been operating by one person for over 27 years and uses a government age pension to pay for everything. The only time donations are asked for is when a cat requires specialist veterinary surgery to save their life which cost several thousand dollars. The operator no longer has savings to rely on as they have been used previously.
Please ask all other family members before enquiring.
