About Tilly
π·π· TILLY π·π·
Meet the playful and cute little Tilly π₯° who is ready to find her furever home π
This gorgeous girl we believe could be half kangaroo π€£ whilst learning her manners on the lead she would stand on her hind legs and jump π€£π€£
Tilly is a wonderful and sweet natured Kelpie X who is always looking for a cuddle π₯° She is sooo eager to please her humans π and super loving like any typical Kelpie π
She is always keen for a play, fetch is her favourite game! π She has the cutest big smile she will greet everyone with π Tilly would make a wonderful companion or even working dog if someone is willing to put in the training and give her work to do π she is a very clever girl, picks things up very quickly! She loves other dogs, untested with cats, great with kids (however is still young and may accidentally knock over little ones when excited). Tilly is an excellent jumper, she would love a sport to do with jumping or agility. She hasn't shown interest in escaping, but high fences are a must :)
Tilly came to us due to lead aggression, when off lead she is amazing with meeting other dogs. However when on lead, she gets confused and isn't sure how she is meant to introduce herself/meet another dog. So we have been working very hard to help her learn the correct way to behave on lead, we have developed a training plan for her that she is thriving on! π She has learnt so quickly, and with continuing her training she will get it perfect every time π She isn't aggressive nor wants to be mean, she just finds being on a lead confusing and so she makes mistakes. But that's ok, it's our job as her Carer's (and her future family's job) to ensure we guide her and teach her π
Tilly is a sweetheart, and would make a great addition to the family π₯° She is also crate trained π
If you would like to meet Tilly, please message for an application π
Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption application MUST be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
2. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place. You must bring your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption. If meeting a cat we do not recommend brining your current dog/cat as this may stress the cat/kitten out.
3. The animal MUST NOT be taken on the day unless PRIOR APPROVAL seeked, we will NOT ACCEPT the animal to be taken on the day if less then 2 days notice is given. If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment must be made before collection of the animal.
4. 14 day settling in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster carer.
5. Adoption is finalised after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email.
6. All animals for adoption are kept up to date with vet work until date of adoption. Inclusive of vaccinations, monthly worming and flea treatment. New owners are responsible for keeping preventatives current.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your email within 72 hours. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: WE CAN NOT HOLD ANY ANIMALS SO PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE READY TO ADOPT NOW
