About Rocky 🦖
Meet Rocky, a confident, almost 4yr old English staffy, who wants to meet everyone he comes across... Mr Social 🕺🏻who has personality plus and will charm everyone!
Rocky is very human focused and has grown up with kids, however because he tends to get excited when he first see’s people, he would be better suited to kids over the age of 6.
While he is currently living with another dog and a rabbit, he has a bit to much interest in the rabbit, and the neighbourhood cats know to stay clear of him....so he would not suit a house with pocket pets or cats.
During his time in care, Rocky has shown us that people are his number 1 priority....choosing to follow his foster mum around the house and yard, rather than creating his own fun....even when it's time to mow the lawn! In saying that, Rocky doesn't have any issues with separation anxiety, so if he was to be left on his own for short periods, he would keep himself amused until you return, with no fuss whatsoever.
This little man is also an avid water lover and loves to play in his shell pool or often found having a dig in his water bowl.
Rocky walks beautifully on lead, and the only time he will pull, is to try and say hello to someone going past.....human or dog. He is also great with sit, shake and is learning stay.
Rocky has typical staffy skin and prone to reactions to grass, but is easily maintained with a Tea Tree shampoo, when a flare up occurs.
Rocky is an inside/outside dog who is fully house trained and loves to sleep on the bed with you if you let him.
This handsome boy would suit a range of homes and would cope well with or without another dog. Given the fact he loves kids, he would also be suitable in a home with children. We are ideally looking for a home where Rocky would be a treasured member of the family. He would love to be included in family outings and would be a great snuggle buddy when it's time to relax on the couch.
Rocky is located in Chittaway Bay, on the Central Coast NSW. He is all ready to meet his new family, and if you do have an existing dog, we would recommend bringing them to meet him as well.

Adoption details
If you would like to express interest in adopting, we ask that you send through some info about yourself, your family and home, if you rent or own (rental agreement required if renting and rates notice required if you own) and what you can offer this gorgeous baby. Our aim is to find the best homes for our babies, not necessarily first in best dressed, so a good detailed application will make you stand out from the rest.
Once we have received your email outlining the above, those who we feel may be suitable, will be sent an Adoption Questionnaire to complete. Your enquiry will then be passed onto the appropriate carer and successful applicants will be contacted via phone.
