About Jasper
MEET JASPER! (please read thoroughly)
Please excuse my appearance, I was in rough condition!
Jasper's History!
Jasper is approx 7 year old medium haired tabby and white boy.
Jasper's story is a sad one but his future is nothing but bright, he was surrendered to the local animal shelter and found to have a skin cancer on his nose and in desperate need of a dental and covered in fur knots.
Since coming into Cat Lovers Ballarat care, Jasper has had his extensive dental surgery and also laser surgery on his nose skin cancer! The surgery went fantastically and he has now recovered and looking for his forever home. He will only need one more check up in another 4 months and then yearly check-ups on his nose to ensure that the cancer isn't returning. Whomever adopts Jasper will receive continued support from Cat Lovers Ballarat if he requires any further treatment on the nose. Jasper is also a little on the overweight side (currently on a diet!) so unable to groom himself properly and requires daily brushing with a comb.
Jasper's Personality!
Jasper is the biggest love bug and the most relaxed foster i've ever had the pleasure to care for, he loves nothing more than to cuddle right up with you in bed purring away, he would lay in bed all day with you if he had the choice! He LOVES a belly pat and often sleeps on his back exposing his belly for those good rubs. He enjoys the brush and requires daily brushing to keep his coat in good condition (he's a little pudgy and unable to wash himself properly) when he arrived to care his coat was in a bad way and as such he required some grooming and shaved spots that are starting to grow back in nicely. Jasper has a stare that feels like he's looking straight into your soul!
He lives peacefully with the other resident cats and is not afraid of strangers, he MUST be an INDOOR ONLY cat however to keep his skin cancer safe from sun exposure. Jasper would be an absolute delight to any household & he really deserves the best after what he's been through.
Medical notes
Extensive dental surgery, 1 top canine removed.
Nasal skin cancer laser removal surgery.
