About Freud
**Please note we have reopened applications for Freud
Hi, my name is Freud and my foster mum says I am a gentle bulldozer but a gentleman!
She says I have the most gentle nature but I have worked out why walk around things when I can go through things – I promise as I do it I will give you a big goofy bulldog smile and a wiggle of my bum!
I just want to start out by saying I loooove my humans – love, love, love them! I love to help doing what ever you do (except vacuuming I will protect you from that demonic thing every time!!)
Please note no amount of hugs is too much and I will remind you to hug me everyday!
I love to go for a walk with my humans, but I am very much built for short distances and a sight see rather than a marathon – you know the old saying built for comfort not speed – that’s me!
I am okay with other dogs but I am not keen on dominant dogs – I am over that puppy stage and dogs that bounce around and want to play all the time with me – no thanks.
One thing I do love and it makes my foster mum laugh is a big ball – I love to play with them and then fall asleep with it in my mouth – so if you think I’m your guy I would put a preorder in for a big soft squashy ball I can rest my head on while I sleep.
I will confess cats and birds are definitely a no for me –my mum says I am way to curious and I am not going to lie I will chase them (as far as I can run)
I do have awesome manners when I want (sometimes I have a thing called selective hearing but come on I’m so cute I can get away with it).
One thing my foster mum says is I like to 'mouth' people when I'm getting to know them - I promise I'm not trying to eat them! I can also be vocal sometimes (but anyone who knows bulldogs knows that is part of our charm!)
I am toilet trained and will let you know if I need to go outside to do my business.
My foster mum says I’m a awesome boy I will bark if someone comes to the front door – but I mean it was uber eats and that means food and I’m a bulldog sooooooo kind of nature yeah??
I am currently in foster care with some skin kids (hee hee) but because I can use my weight to get what I want I think it would probably be better for me to go to a home with kids over 8 – just cause they don’t tend to get knocked over as easily :-)
I am love love loving sleeping inside and I have asked my foster mum if we can make sure that my new home is cool with that cause Its pretty terrific!
Are you who I am looking for ?

Adoption details
Paw Prints Canine Rescue is a non for profit dog rescue located in Southeast Queensland.
All our dogs leave our care with full vet work (up-to-date vaccinated, microchipped, desexed, heart worm and intestinal wormed and flea treated).
Please note - They will not leave for their new homes until they are 12 weeks of age and have been desexed, micro-chipped and vaccinated up to date.
Please note - we are not a pound or have kennels - all our dogs stay in foster carers homes and therefore dogs are not able to be simply viewed - only approved applicants will meet the dogs.
We can also be found at https://www.facebook.com/pawprintscanine/
Complete the following adoption enquiry link
https://goo.gl/forms/PqpkCcE89ikDR2Lw1
Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
If applying to adopt one of our furbabies over the age of 6 months we recommend that you bring to the meet and greet any of your furbabies to see how they interact.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 2 week trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $100) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption
AFTER THE TRIAL PERIOD
After the 2 week trial period is completed Paw Prints Canine will send out all relevant paperwork for your new furbaby.
