About Tekken
PLEASE NOTE: Due to COVID-19 and travel being restricted, I can only be adopted in NSW or ACT.
Hi, I am Tekken, and I am a five year old German Shepherd who needs a new home.
I am a stunning red gold and black stock coated pedigree German Shepherd whose former owner sought German Shepherd Rescue’s help to find this boy a forever home.
I will be a heart breaker. Unfortunately I need some TLC to bring my coat and general health back but this won’t take long. I will fill out to be a solid boy but don’t worry I am super friendly, really a bit of snuggler and a gentle smoother.
Unfortunately I have been left as a yard dog, you can tell by my coat
condition and failure to treat my ears for fly strike. My next forever home will need to commit to ensuring I am an integral family member and will be given the love and care this regal and loyal boy deserves.
Yes my ears show the tell tale signs of being a yard dog but with care the ears will be up and standing to attention.
I would love a home where I can be walked daily and given the time and commitment I deserves. Being a Registered Bred German Shepherd I come with my full Pedigree Papers.
I am a calm and good natured shepherd who has lived with older children. So if you have owned a German Shepherd and your children are sensible and dog savvy then I am a stunning male shepherd in need of a caring home.
I am not fazed by other dogs but have not been tested with cats or pocket pets.
My ideal home is with people who have recently had a German Shepherd and understand my amazing breed, and where I can be an internal family member.
So, if you think you could be my new family, please select the "Enquire about this Pet" and give me some information about your family and then the Rescue people will try to call you and then I will need an application form to be filled out so I can help find the best home.
Medical notes
Tekken comes with his Full Pedigree papers as s Twgistrred Bred German Shepherd. He is microchipped. Life time registered and C7 vaccinated, heart worm tested negative.
Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
