About Cooper
Beautiful Cooper is on the hunt for a forever family!
A sweet as pie boy, Cooper loves nothing more than to snuggle up in someone’s lap. A true loyal companion, Cooper just loves to be around people.
Cooper is still quite playful and loves a good soft toy, and would do well in a home with another friendly pooch!
He does need a little more work on his basic manners training, however does sit and can walk well on a leash or harness.
Cooper has an ongoing health condition which will require a committed family to manage this through diet.
Coopers adoption fee helps to cover a small percentage of his intensive treatment and surgical procedures, desexing and microchip.
He will go to his new home up to date with his vaccination, heart worm, tick, flea and worm treatments.
Medical notes
Cooper has been diagnosed with Inflammatory Bowel Disease and has recently undergone major surgery to identify and diagnose why he had become unwell.
Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is a syndrome rather than a disease. The syndrome is caused by a specific reaction to chronic irritation of the intestinal tract. Most dogs with IBD have a history of recurrent or chronic vomiting or diarrhea and may have a poor appetite. During periods of vomiting or diarrhea, the dog may lose weight, but is normal otherwise.
The prognosis is generally good with a confirmed diagnosis of inflammatory bowel disease and we are more than happy to discuss further with interested families!
