About Bobby
Bobby is an 8 year old Kelpie X boy looking for a new home to call his own.
This wonderful boy is ever so gentle, well-mannered and full of fun.
He would benefit from a home with some area to run and be a kelpie but would be just as happy with someone who can get out and about and keep him super active and enriched.
Our boy Bobby is quiet the smoocher and would love cuddles on the couch, extra pats from people he meets on his outings and some special treats for being so good.
Bobby is sociable with dogs his size and larger however plays a bit rough with those smaller and cats. He would be great in a home with older children to throw the ball, chase the footy or run beside on the bikes.
If you have a home amongst the gum trees Bobby would be ideal, he has lived on land in the past and reports are he was ok around the livestock. He also loves car rides, so if you have a weekend property then Bobby would love to come away when you go.
Bobby was surrendered to BARC due to a change in his previous owners circumstances and is here through no fault of his own. This wonderful boy has lots of love to give.
If you think Bobby may be just up your alley then please cal the people at BARC on 5441-2209 to arrange a meet and greet.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
