About Nala & Ted
Meet Nala & Ted, a mother & son bonded pair.
Nala is just over 1 years old, and quite young herself, with a curious and playful side. She enjoy’s long naps on the bed, clawing at her scratching post and snacking on fishy treats. She can be cautious at times, especially if someone she doesn’t know is walking by or if her foster-carer is making lots of noise (e.g scary Mr Vacuum), however her foster-carer has noticed that she is getting more confident with every new day.
Nala absolutely love’s to play with her 5 month old son Ted, and together they play hide and seek and spend hours chasing each other around the apartment, hiding behind the sofa cushions, climbing onto their big cardboard castle, and watching YouTube for cats on the TV.
Ted is very cute, he looks like a soft little teddy bear. He loves dangly objects and stands on his rear two feet swatting at them, he also loves watching the birds through the windows and attempting to chat with them.
Nala loves sidling up to you for scratches under the chin, but Ted is a bit more cautious and prefers them when he’s in a sleepy mood, however his carer has noticed that he is getting more cuddly with each new day.
It is important to note that Nala & Ted will most likely be nervous and shy during the first few days/weeks in their new home, and therefore they will need a home with a patient adopter/s, someone that is gentle and willing to let them become comfortable in their own time.
Due to their initial anxiety and extremely playful side, we don’t think Nala and Ted would be suited a home with very young children.
*Please note:* Nala & Ted are indoor only cats, or indoor/outdoor with a secure courtyard or supervised outdoor time ONLY.
Adopting a bonded pair has lots of positives! Such as, having a companion to play and cuddle with, reducing boredom and anxiety. Adopting a bonded pair can be especially great for adopters that work full-time, taking away the stresses of leaving a loved pet at home alone, and knowing they will have company during the working day.
The adoption fee for BOTH Nala & Ted is $250
