About Hunter
Introducing this gentle giant - Hunter
Hunter is a 4 year old Neapolitan Mastiff x and has a heart as big as his body!
Hunter is also officially the first place winner of the Paw Prints Canine Rescue drooling, slobbering, and snoring competition hands down!
While he has mastered the above competition don’t let that be the things you remember most about him - Hunter is a big baby who just loves to be around his people – he loves nothing more than going for a walk, hanging out in the backyard, watching TV or snuggling on the bed with his family
This big boy loves attention and affection almost as much as he loves to go for walks and play with his family. Hunters size may make him look intimidating - but as is the traits of his breed, he is a loving boy who loves to be part of whatever is going on.
Neo's are also known to be intelligent and mild mannered who love to please their family and we can see all of these traits in Hunter. He enjoys to be out exploring the world and loves his walk. Hunter is great to walk and happy to go at what pace you set.
Hunter loves to do gentle play with other dogs and is currently in care with another large dog and a medium size breed all with no issues.
Hunter is curious of the kittens that are at his home when he inside but when they hiss or growl at him he is scared.
Hunter is easily made happy – a quick ‘hey boy’, a cuddle or especially some play time will see this giant become a small pup, whilst he thinks he is teeny tiny we do suggest that he will need to be supervised around young kids if they are not used to big breeds - he is currently in care with two young boys and no issues.
Hunter does like to sleep with his humans at night - either on the bed or in the room with them and this is something he would very much like to continue to do. Hunter is not a dog that can simply be outside for long periods of time without human contact.
Hunter is just snoozing waiting for his forever home
