About Butter
Butter is an extremely loving, special old girl that is looking for the perfect home. She is 13 (nearly 14!) years young, and while she sometimes acts like a pup, she has trouble with her hips and back legs.
Her ideal day would be breakfast (she loves food!), and then spending the morning laying outside in the sunshine, or wherever she can get her joints warm. She also loves cuddling up on a lap or lounge, or her dedicated orthopaedic beds. In the afternoon, she loves spending time with her humans doing anything in the backyard, and will sometimes have a little play (tug-of-war or chases) but she tires very quickly. She also loves enrichment activities in the evenings, such as a snuffle mat or treats in a puzzle ball. She is so treat driven! After dinner, she enjoys more cuddles and will put herself to bed at around 8pm. She is completely house trained and will let you know with big sighs when she wants to go outside.
While Butter is a calm doggie most of the time, she can get a bit stressed when seeing other dogs, so she actually prefers to not go on walks at all and stay at home for play instead.
Butter would suit a home with loving fur-parents who allow her to chill and with no other pets.
