About Aspen
All About Me and My Unique Personality:
Aspen is a super smoochy young lady who loves to have a chat. She's very vocal and being hearing impaired, gets quite loud when she's informing you that she's hungry or unhappy. Aspen does not like being away from her peeps or being confined to a room alone. She would love to sleep on your bed, watch Netflix with you and help out in the kitchen - she's pretty much a little white shadow that will follow you around. If you're looking for someone to greet you with head bops and come running when you get home this is the girl for you. She's very playful, almost kitten like and loves to chase the wiggle stick with a feather around.
My Ideal Home:
Being hearing impaired and white, Aspen will definitely need to be an indoor only cat. Please don't even consider her if you are contemplating letting her out in the future. She might tell you she wants to go outside, but this is not an option.
What is Known About My Background:
Aspen hasn't been very forthcoming with where she was before coming into care. She found herself at the RSPCA after she was surrendered by a family who took her in when her previous owners didn't want her.
How Do I Interact with Kids, Dogs, Cats and Other Pets:
Aspen has met the resident cats and foster cats. On initial meeting she wasn't a fan however has learned that they're not so bad and is happily spending time with them. I guess it will depend on the cat she's with and very slow introductions. She's not a fan of the rambunctious resident Staffy, however a quieter dog that gives her space and doesn't chase her would be a very different story. She should be fine as long as they treat her gently and with respect. She's probably best with older children who understand she's hearing impaired and scare her by sneaking up on her.
Medical notes
Aspen is hearing impaired
