About Ziggy ~ Mixed Breed Puppy(On Trial 29/09/20)
Ziggy is 8 weeks old male mixed breed puppy! His parents were a bountiful mix of Lab X Cattle & Bull Arab X Am Staff! He’s a confident little man who is happy to roam the backyard by himself but he also loves to wrestle with his brother!
He gets frightened by loud noises easily so a quiet neighbourhood will suit him best.
Ziggy’s foster family are home most of the day and he’s been trying hard to toilet train, although accidents still sometimes happen! He’s been working at learning to sit for treats and come when called, which he’s getting quite good, being only 8 weeks old.
He sleeps in the bathroom at night but spends days outside and will happily cuddle up to his brother in a kennel when they need a day nap. Ziggy is an busy little guy, so would suit a household with an active lifestyle best, he will definitely require a walk outside his backyard daily to keep him mentally and physically happy!
Before applying for me or one of my siblings I have some questions for you to consider:
-Have you thought about loving and caring for me for the next 12-15 years - maybe even longer ?
-I am a furever dog not just a COVID dog
-I won’t be a tiny puppy for long and will get up to mischief as I become a teenager. Are you ready for that?
-Have you thought about my extra puppy meals throughout the day?
-Will somebody be home more often than not to keep me socialised?
-I will most likely be a large adult so do you have solid and tall fencing (5-6 foot) to keep me safe?
-I won’t suit an apartment , courtyards or a small yard. I need a medium to large yard to play and rumble in!
-Have you thought about my ongoing physical training and mental stimulation (enrichment games) so that I don't get bored and destructive?
-Will I have access to inside at all times to ensure that I am a part of your family?
I'm watching and learning from you from the moment I open my eyes. Being inside means that I will learn what leads to praise and reward and what doesn't. Being under supervision also means I learn boundaries (crucial as I grow older) and means I am less likely to develop nuisance behaviours due to boredom.
If you’re keen for an attentive and affectionate chap like me then please email my foster mum Aileen on adoptadoggo@yahoo.com I’m located near Morisset (Lake Macquarie) You can also fill out the adoption questionnaire here https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt

If there is a phone number listed in the dog's profile then you can also phone for more information.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption. More details of our Adoption Procedure on our website: https://tinyurl.com/adoptproc
