About Angie
“Hi! My name is Angie and I am a Female Bull Arab cross. My foster humans believe I may be crossed with Staffy due to my short stature.
I was born at the start of 2020 and I am 10 months old. I was desexed and microschipped at 6 months and I am up to date with my vaccinations and worming. I currently weight 13kg.
I love being inside with humans for cuddles at night and then in summer I’m happy to go sleep outside.. I’m a loving dog that loves to give my humans many cuddles and kisses and love laying next to them in the evening and to be part of there nightly routine.. I love sitting next to the kitchen and watching them cook dinner. I enjoy just being apart of everything.
Beach days and swimming is something I have come to love. One time I went kayaking and I jumped into the water. It was my first time and I was so scared. But I am learning to swim a lot now and it helps my legs 😊
I am unsure how I get along with Cats as I have not lived with them but I have walked past them and have been curious with them and want to try and play with them but they run away. I am dog friendly as I go to the dog park around twice a week. However, I must be closely monitored when playing with other dogs, especially puppies as I get over excited and sometimes play roughly by grabbing their cheeks.
I LOVE humans! At the dog park humans are the first ones I go up too and get pats from. Then once I have greeted all the humans I will then play with the dogs. I think I am child friendly but I haven't been around many children before, so maybe bigger kids are better for me.
The fence type I require doesn't need to be high as I can only jump about 80cm and I struggle to jump into cars that are too high.
I would LOVE a big yard that has lots of plants for me to sniff as this will keep me entertained for hours - exploring and sniffing around.
Some extras you may like to know about me:
- My back legs and tail are not 100% due to my Lung Parasite.
- I am not completely toilet trained due to the Lung Worm parasite I use to have. But with positive training I'm hoping to be toilet trained soon.
- I pee and poop my bed almost every night so every morning my humans wash my spoiled blankets and bed.
- I tire easily so after a long walk I might need a quick rest before heading home.
- I am a sweet girl who loves to be patted by all the humans who walk by. The humans love me and always say what a good girl I am.
- I have attended 3 puppy training sessions and my foster parents think I am an A+ student “
Angie needs a home in the South East Qld area. She was a very very sick puppy but now she is mostly well except she still suffers from the lingering side effect of incontinence, it’s slight leakage. She will need a special person, who is kind and patient, and understanding of her condition.
