About Bouncy Mr Bojangles
Hi, I’m Mr Bojangles but my human friends all call me Bo. I’m a 10 month old happy and healthy bundle of fun and my favourite activities are eating, playing with all my toys and spending my days discovering all the new things in my foster carer’s house. My previous home did not offer me much to do, I was left alone in one room quite a lot and, as a result, I have a lot of exploring and learning to catch up on!
I LOVE my resident fur siblings and am obsessed with trying to get them to play and maybe join in a wrestle or a game of chase……unfortunately they are all older than me and they don’t find my shenanigans all that endearing. My ideal home would have another kitty around my age as I would adore having a playmate who could help me learn the ropes and indulge me in a wrestle or two.
I also delight in being able to explore the outside world from the safety of my foster parents’ cat run, and would really enjoy a furever home with a cat proof yard or catio, but as long as there is space to run inside the home and a sunny spot to snooze, I would be content. Because I was not allowed much freedom when I was small, I do have a yearning to sneak out the front or back door with my humans, so a home with lots of people coming and going or small children may not be the safest option for me.
That being said, I do enjoy playing with humans of all ages, especially children who are gentle and understand that sometimes I like to relax alone. If you are happy to play with a dangly toy or even a shoelace, I would love to join in. And I will come for a smooch or a cuddle when I see you sitting down.
Before I came to my foster home, I had never met a dog and the first time I saw one inside, I hissed and fluffed myself up so I looked really scary! But the doggy just kind of ignored me and now I am becoming very curious and will often sneak up and sniff her when she is sleeping. I’m sure with time and gentle introductions, I wouldn’t mind having a cat friendly canine sibling. My foster home also has a birdie in a cage and some fishies. I have been a very good boy and do not terrorize the bird, though he is a lorikeet and more than capable of nipping me! The fishies are fun to watch, but after a little while I get bored with not being able to catch them and either snooze on top of the tank or move on to a new activity.
My ideal furever home would be one with room to run, perhaps with some children to play with or a safe outside area to explore and someone who understands that I am still a kitten and will sometimes forget my manners and climb or break things! A feline playmate is a must, but I’m not fussy on age or sex as long as they will play with me!
Medical notes
Bo is a super happy and healthy little guy who has been desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and flea and worm treated.
