About Tiger ~ 6 year old fluffy ginger boy
Meet the very handsome, Tiger. Tiger has had a rough start to life and is looking for a happy ending to 2020. Tiger was left behind by his family at the beginning of the year when they moved house and he was left to fend for himself. His fur became very matted and he started looking for food around his neighborhood when he found a lovely woman who began feeding him every night.
This very lovely woman has had Tiger desexed and is caring for him temporarily while we look for a home for this sweet boy. Tiger isn’t looking his best right now as he has had to be gradually shaved in certain areas of his body to remove the matting but Tiger is a very handsome boy no matter what.
Tiger loves his food and will eat whatever is put in front of him. He is a chatty boy and loves to tell you when he is hungry or wants a chin scratch. He loves pats so much that he will bite you if you take your hand away too soon!
Tiger is litter trained and loves to be inside with his humans but after living on the street for so long, he will try to get out the door when you open them so it is best that he isn’t rehomed in a house with young children. Tiger needs to be an indoor-only cat for his safety and the safety of native animals. A cat enclosure or enclosed deck would be a bonus for Tiger!
Tiger is available for adoption for to an indoor-only home and his adoption fee is $80. Tiger is in foster care in Maryland, NSW. All his vet work is done and including desexing, microchip & vaccination. (1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:
https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
If there is a phone number listed in the dog's profile then you can also phone for more information.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption. More details of our Adoption Procedure on our website: https://tinyurl.com/adoptproc
