About Christoforous
I'm a shy floof who was trapped in Ossie Park by a company that decided they wanted to look after the cats in their area. How nice of them! I mean, I'm not thrilled at the moment, but I'm sure that once I'm adopted and settled in and making friends with my owner I will look back on this graciously.
I'm still getting the hang of relaxing with people, but I'm much better at it than I was. If you can take things slowly for a couple of weeks while I settle in I could be be the soft purry fluffball you're looking for; just don't expect to see very much of me at first.
I've recently discovered how to sit on a lap to get headrubs and I'm a big fan, although I need to practice not accidentally rolling off backwards. My hobbies include chasing toys, snoozing on the end of the bed, sitting on laptop keyboards, and looking slightly offended when someone tries to touch me anywhere other than on the couch, on the bed, or near the food bowls (that's 3 places more than I allowed last week, and I don't want to rush things).
I like to live with other cats so we can take turns gently pouncing on each other and hunt toy mice together. They can also help me settle in by demonstrating how to correctly sit on your lap without falling off.
Adoption details
Just browse some of the photos of our beautiful cats available for adoption or come to our shelter in Shenton Park to meet our many beautiful kitties.
Please be aware that the cats featured on this page represent only a very small portion of the total number of beautiful felines we have available for adoption. We do not include any of our kittens on this page, as the turnover for youngsters is simply too high to keep up-dating, but we always have many beautiful kittens looking for homes!
Also many of our cats and kittens are currently staying in temporary foster homes out in the community but are still looking for a loving home, so please call Cat Haven in advance if you want to make arrangements for a meeting with a foster cat.
