About Carter 8732 Campbelltown ACF
Hi, my names Carter. I came into the facility as a stray and sadly no one came to collect me. I came in with an injury to my neck, my carers are unsure how I got the injury, but assure me that I'm pretty much back to normal! I have beautiful fur that would benefit from regular brushing as I want to look my best for you. It seems I contracted Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) whilst I've lived my life on the streets. FIV means that my immune system is weaker then a normal cat, this is why I will need to be kept as an indoor cat, and would be best as the only cat in the household. It's been a bit rough for me for quite some time, and I'm so ready for someone to take a chance on me and invite me into their loving home. I can be a little timid when meeting strangers but I am extremely food motivated and love treats, and am sure to be your best friend in no time if you have something yummy for me to eat! My adoption fee has been reduced to encourage my adoption.
Medical notes
FIV positive

Adoption payment can only be made in person at the Animal Care Facility. We do not do adoptions or payments over the phone and require all potential adopters to complete a successful meet and greet with the animal prior to adopting. For dog adoptions, if a dog is to be housed with another dog after adoption a meet and greet between the two dogs must be conducted to ensure they are a suitable match.
When you have selected a pet, you will be asked to complete an expression of interest form. Following a successful meet and greet with the animal, we can finalise the adoption paperwork and payment. Dogs and cats are booked into Council's contracted vet for the animal to be desexed typically the next business day. We will transport your new pet to our vet for desexing in the morning. The new owner is to collect the animal from the vets in the afternoon.
Please note that this adoption profile may not be the most up-to-date information available, due to the constant movement of animals into and out of the facility.
