About Frankie
PLEASE NOTE: Due to COVID-19 and travel being restricted, I can only be adopted in NSW or ACT.
My name is Frankie, and I am a stunning four year old pedigree German Shepherd who is looking for a committed and experienced German Shepherd owner. My family love me but think I would be happier in a committed home.
I will need a home where I can be an integral family member.
I need to learn not to be so stimulated by other dogs. I am not mean but I haven't been taught how to behave very well with other dogs. I can walk on a lead but could do with a little more training and will improve with like regular walks.
I am young and gentle and suitable to a home with older children that have recently lived with a German Shepherd. I may be able to be a playmate for a gentle male large breed dog, but I haven't been near cats or pocket pets.
Intelligence, loyalty, love and companionship is what I will give in abundance when I connect and builds that trust with my new family.
If you understand the nature of the German Shepherds and are looking for a companion dog then please consider me.
If you think you can give me a new home please select "Enquire about this Pet".
Medical notes
Frankie is microchipped. She will be desexed and vaccinated before going to her new home.
Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
