About Jak
What can we say about handsome Mr Jax? This fellow came into care with a broken leg, which has been surgically repaired by the wonderful RSPCA vet team. Jax isn't a fan of 're-habbing' in the shelter, and would much rather find a forever home where he can continue his physio plan and increase his exercise slowly in style and comfort!
Jax isn't keen on other dogs, so will need to be the only dog in the home. He also isn't a candidate for dog parks or off leash areas. Having said that, Jax is ready to commit 110% to his humans, and really thinks people are the bees knees!
Jax needs a home with older children, as he is a little wary of close handling. His new humans will need to be dog savvy people, who are able to keep him contained during his orthopaedic recovery, and provide ongoing training and desensitisation to other dogs once his leg has healed. Jax is a very strong dog, who has had limited life experience prior to coming into care. Adopters will also need to be able to bring Jax back to the Wacol campus for a few vet check ups during the first month of adoption to ensure he is recovering well.
