About Vivi
ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS: ** TIMID KITTEN ** -- ADULTS ONLY -- INDOORS ONLY -- QUIET HOME -- ANOTHER CAT CONSIDERED --
Vivi (or Vivi Bug as she is known by her foster carer) was brought into the shelter in a humane cat trap. She was very scared and shut down for the first couple of weeks of her stay here, but one day all of a sudden decided that humans are friends. We don't believe that Vivi has ever lived in a home before, so she has spent some time in foster care learning some confidence and building trust. She is a very sweet young lady, but still very much a timid kitten. Vivi will need owners experienced with cats, who can be patient, gentle and loving with her. She will take extra time to settle in a home, and will need a slow introduction to the house, with just one room to call her own for at least a few weeks, with a comfy bed and somewhere to hide. Once she is comfortable with her humans, you will be rewarded with an affectionate and sweet young cat. Vivi loves to give head bumps and rub her cheek against your hand when she wants some love, but can be skittish with sudden hand movements and loud noises. Her new home needs to be one without children, just one to two adults please. She needs to also be an indoor only cat, as she is too shy to face the outside world. She may do well with another friendly cat to show her the ropes, but slow introductions would need to be made. However she'd also be fine with just her humans to love. Vivi has been learning to play with toys, and especially loves to chase around a ping pong ball. If you are someone who can help this sweet young lady blossom into a loving and confident companion, then please make an appointment to meet her.
