About Brutus ~ 7yr Old Staffy
Brutus the 7 year old staffy is a loving and happy boy. Like most staffies, he is a people dog who loves his cuddles, both giving them and receiving them. This friendly boy is searching for his forever family to adore them and be adored. He will give lots of affection, though sometimes he can get a little excited!
Brutus will be suited to a home with no other dog as he has not had much exposure and so has not yet learnt how to introduce himself to others properly. He can walk past dogs but doesn't want to say hello up close! Brutus is exceptionally loyal and loves his humans more than anything. Brutus has never had a proper education of how to walk on a lead, however with some guidance from his new owners and a walking harness this will improve. He would love to get out on regular walks and will be less excitable if he is able to do this.
Brutus would love to be able to sleep inside (although you may need to show him your house rules and boundaries, as he is sleeping outside currently). He is good with kids but would be best suited to a home with no kids or teenagers so that he can be the centre of attention and focus on catching up on his training! (and also so he doesn't bowl them over!)
If you work from home then Brutus would be in heaven so he can hang out near you all day, however he is ok at home if you are working. He will be your best friend at all times. You can also fill out the adoption questionnaire here https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
For more information on Brutus, please contact Jenn on email drn.jenn@gmail.com. Brutus is located in the Newcastle area NSW.
Brutus's adoption fee is $250 and includes desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments and micro chipping.
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:
https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
If there is a phone number listed in the dog's profile then you can also phone for more information.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption. More details of our Adoption Procedure on our website: https://tinyurl.com/adoptproc
