About Atticus & Scout
Two cats for the one adoption fee - because two cats are better than one!
** Please note - we are taking applications and you will be able to meet the cats online via video chat only at this time due to restrictions **
Atticus & Scout were found abandoned together through no fault of their own, living at a school, just trying their best to survive. The have both quickly settled back into home life. BOTH CATS ARE INDOOR ONLY! - See below
Atticus and Scout come as a bonded pair and cannot be separated. They like to share beds, play and explore together. Both are approximately 18 months old and looking for a quiet with older children - sorry, no dogs.
Atticus (Floofy Tabby, medium hair) - is quite a chatty boy, who loves to hang out with you. He also loves to play chasey with Scout and with his toy wiggle stick. Atticus is addicted to fish and Tuna. Atticus has a heart of gold, loves to smooch once he warms up to you. Atticus came to us with a leg injury which has fully healed and he has no ongoing issues using it - as he chases Scout everywhere!
Scout (Tuxedo, short hair) - is a cheeky and playful boy. He is not just another Tuxedo, he has cute little bum cheeks! Scout is also a fellow fish addict, he is respectful of other cats and loves to play with Atticus.
Scout is FIV positive MUST be rehomed as an entirely INDOOR cat (unless he has access to a cat run) FIV is not a death sentence! Cats with FIV can live almost as long as a cat without FIV, their life expectancy is still around 15 years, and CANNOT be transmitted to humans! All that will be required is twice yearly checkups instead yearly, and ensuring that his vaccinations are ALWAYS kept up to date. FIV can only be transmitted to other cats through very deep bite wounds, It CANNOT be transmitted to another cat by sharing litter trays, food bowls, or play fighting. Scout has NOT shown any signs of aggression towards any of our other foster cats, he is very sweet towards our other foster cats.
Medical notes
Both boys are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and wormed. Scout is FIV positive, Atticus is FIV negative.
