About Matilda
Hello potential new family!
My name is Matilda and I am a British Bulldog , although you could easily mistake me for a little love machine!
My foster mum says I am a smoocher and a lover 100% - she says I have something called no personal space and I am happy to sit with you, near you, on you, in front of you - basically anywhere as long as I am getting attention or love.
My foster mum says I am also not shy in telling you when I feel as if I am no getting enough attention - I will let you know!
My foster mum says that I make her smile at least 10 times a day with some of my antics – she thinks it’s funny when I can squeeze myself into the smallest dog bed – I just tell her I’m compact!!!!
My foster mum says that I can snore really really loudly – I think she is teasing cause I have never heard myself snore – I mean come on who has ever heard of a bulldog snoring??? She says it can be so loud just like a tractor – nah I don’t think so!!
I am currently with another dog and we get on well – we love convincing our foster mum to take us for a walk together she reckons she just can’t resist the two of us when we give her puppy eyes. But I would also be more than happy being an only dog.
My foster mum said that I need to tell people what I like to do for a day – sooooo I told her of course I like to bungee jump, run marathons and cook health food – ha ha but what I really like doing is going for a walk in the cooler weather - I love to have a swim - but do need to be supervised – sleeping, snoozing (yes they are different), having a sunbake outside sometimes, I like my creature comforts of sleeping on the couch / bed, air conditioning (but that's a must cause of my breed)
I enjoy good food - my farts will tell you if I’m not happy with the food - the only bad for thing me is I look at something yum and I feel like I put on weight so I do need my new family to be mindful of that – good food only.
I am great with kids – I have even been able to train one or two to give me bum scratches – they are the best kinds of kids.
Before you go, there are a couple more great bonuses about me. More you say? I know, how could I get any better? As much as I love having a playing and running around, when it’s time to relax I love curling up next to my hooman for a good snooze.
I'd love to be your new best friend!

Medical notes
Being a bulldog they readily overheat and have breathing difficulties in hot weather, and they chill easily in cold temperatures so a home where there is air conditioning is a must.

Please note - They will not leave for their new homes until they are 12 weeks of age and have been desexed, micro-chipped and vaccinated up to date.

Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 2 week trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $100) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
