About Buddy
Buddy had a cruisey life until a new screamy, tiny, stressful human invaded it! The few months since then have been a bit rough so Buddy will need a calm, quiet home with a family 100% dedicated to getting him back to his fun loving self!
Before the baby invasion Buddy was a quirky fellow. He’d happily follow his people around all day chatting, giving tips on how to fold the laundry or pointing out the spots on the floor they missed. He was very playful, carrying toys around or finding new ones like ear buds, which are the best fun to scatter around the house. Buddy likes his neck and cheek scratching and chilling on the couch with his people.
Unfortunately this handsome Buddy Boy just could not understand why a little human had to move in and his anxiety grew grew and was compounded by the other household cat becoming aggressive towards him. After months of vet investigations and anti-anxiety medicine, the owners made the heart breaking decision to find him a more suitable home.
Buddy will only go to a family who truly understands the patience and time needed to help this special boy thrive. He will need someone willing to continue his medication until he is weaned from it (he is the easiest cat to medicate, even with his anxiety he is friendly and never aggressive) and someone who is empathetic and kind. Ragdolls also need a daily brush to avoid matted fur.
We have no doubt that in the right home Buddy will relax and be back to his happy self but it will take time.
Buddy would best suit a home with no other pets or children.
INDOOR ONLY CAT.
