About Miggy
## PLEASE NOTE : due to our rescue's COVID policy, we are unable to adopt to people in stage 4 lockdown areas##
NO ENQUIRIES PLEASE....APPLICATIONS ONLY
Miggy (aka Miglet the piglet) is by far the most obedient, sweetest, loving, smartest, chilled out staffy pup we have fostered.
Mig is toilet trained to use puppy pads when no one is home and lets you know when he needs to go outside for the toilet. He is walking well on a lead, he knows basic commands such as sit and shake. He also knows to sit at he’s eating area patiently whilst he’s food is being prepared. He copes very well on he’s own (whilst family is at work, school etc.)
He absolutely LOVES chew toys especially soft furry ones that make sound.
He adores humans (especially children) and is extremely well socialised with other dogs. (Although sometimes can push the limits with older dogs as he’s furry foster sister tolerates anything and everything)
He is good with cats and knows to keep he’s distance when necessary.
He has also been introduced to chickens, ducks and birds and is happy to sit and watch them from a distance.
Miggy would love a home with another dog or children to play with.
He loves to be warm so will often curl up in front of the heater or bury himself in blankets to fall asleep.
All in all he is by far the best foster pup I’ve had the privilege of looking after and he will be very sadly missed in our home.
A condition of Challys adoption agreement is that ALL our dogs send puppies adopters are to be take through puppy school and obedience training. If you are unabl to commit to this requirement, please do not apply.
Adoption details
All forms (including foster and adoption) can be found at the following link:
http://www.challyanimalrescue.org.au/adopt.php
** Only applications submitted via this link will be considered **
Our adoption process is as follows:
1) Animal is listed on PetRescue
2) Applications are received
3) The application which we feel offers the best-suited home to the pet is contacted for first preference of a meet and greet to see if they 'click' with the animal.
We do not follow a first-in, first-served process and only consider applications completed via our online form.
Due the popularity of some dogs - and the fact that our rescue is run entirely by volunteers - we cannot guarantee that all unsuccessful applicants will be notified, however we will do our best.
