About Halia
This small, ginger-striped whirlwind of action and affection is looking for her forever family. Halia (Malay for “ginger”) is an active, curious kitten who is very human-oriented. Halia has lots of confidence and settles into new environments quite fast.
Halia was found as an orphan by some members of the public and handraised. Whilst in care she was paired up with another orphan kitten who has been adopted. She will play flat-out and then find her favourite human for some snuggle time. Halia is very much a one person cat she attaches herself to her favourite person and will become their shadow following her favourite human all day. If her favourite human is out she will make do with any other humans hehe
If you like a big personality who will also snuggle under the blankets with you at night, then this is your kitty.
Halia is cat friendly and small dog friendly. She is good with children, but would suit a home with older children or teenagers due to being a rough nut with her play.
She has impeccable toilet habits and isn’t a very vocal cat. She would suit a family with friendly cats who are willing to play with her.
Being a cheeky kitten Halia will play with things on the tables and shoelaces on shoes. She would love a home with lots of enrichment items to keep her busy.
She comes desexed, microchipped, wormed and vaccinated.
Please read medical notes. Halia did not do well under anaesthetic.
Please note our cats are INDOOR ONLY!
Please do not enquire if your an indoor/outdoor home!
Medical notes
Medical notes - during her routine desexing she displayed an abnormal respiratory pattern and that while its not currently a problem, could pose a risk to her in the future should she need to have a general anaesthetic or develop respiratory issues.
Pectus excavatum is what she was suspected to have. She was taken to a specialist vet and her radiographs were almost like a normal kitten so no further investigations were needed.
Because of this Halia needs experienced owners incase ever in future she needs medical management or surgeries. IF she ever needs any surgeries in future it’s important she goes to a very well equipped vet like a specialist hospital due to the difficulty she had under anaesthetic previously.
Halia needs a financially secure family incase anything arises.
She may never have any further issues but we must disclose all information incase.
