About Harold
Our beautiful Harold has come into care and is still learning to trust people whilst he is very inquisitive and sassy when he wants he is still often unsure of himself when meeting new people (but great with other fur siblings).
Harold will need a new family / human that will have the patience for him to let him come out of his shell and then be prepared for a cheeky, sassy, playful boy. He would love another furry (or not so furry) friend which will help become more confident and independent.
Harold is great with other dogs and cats. He would be fine in a home with children as long as they respect his boundaries and like most cats he isn’t afraid to give a little scratch if he feels threatened / or sees something on the table that just must be knocked off...........
Harold has a few special requirements – He would like a home where there is an area he can retreat to if feeling unsure – he very much likes to explore in his own time and at his own pace. And of course like most furry kids he loves to sunbake at the window or the dining table - yep we have had multiple conversations with him on this behaviour lol.
As a true munchkin Harold has little legs (they are often referred to as the dachshund of the feline world) and don’t let those little legs fool you – when Harold wants something he can definitely get up into places (Beds, coffee tables, dining tables, window sills) He also has no hesitation in trying to help you eat your cereal for breakfast.
Harold is working on his litter box training – he is having a few accidents but that is when he is stressed or frightened – we would ask that his new human / family allow him the time to adjust and understand that a few accidents may happen.
Harold must be an indoor cat only
Harold is currently being fed a raw diet.

Adoption details
Paw Prints Canine Rescue is a non for profit dog rescue located in Southeast Queensland.
All our dogs leave our care with full vet work (up-to-date vaccinated, microchipped, desexed, heart worm and intestinal wormed and flea treated).
Please note - They will not leave for their new homes until they are 12 weeks of age and have been desexed, micro-chipped and vaccinated up to date.
Please note - we are not a pound or have kennels - all our dogs stay in foster carers homes and therefore dogs are not able to be simply viewed - only approved applicants will meet the dogs.
We can also be found at https://www.facebook.com/pawprintscanine/
Complete the following adoption enquiry link
https://goo.gl/forms/PqpkCcE89ikDR2Lw1
Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
If applying to adopt one of our furbabies over the age of 6 months we recommend that you bring to the meet and greet any of your furbabies to see how they interact.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 2 week trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $100) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption
AFTER THE TRIAL PERIOD
After the 2 week trial period is completed Paw Prints Canine will send out all relevant paperwork for your new furbaby.
