About Gemma
Gemma is a great little 16 month old Jack Russell Terrier. As is typical of terriers, Gemma doesn't know that she's only little.
Gemma has no fear of large breeds as her foster brother is a two year old Great Dane cross who she plays rough with!
She has also got a fair bit of Jack Russell Terrier attitude and will take off and go "deaf" if let off the lead. She is unsure of new people so needs to be introduced slowly to strangers (or get them to ignore her and she will come to them).
She can be dominant around food and if treats are around, and does tend to have a generally dominant character. We don't recommend a home with little children as she can be nervous with their quick movements and loud noise.
Gemma loves her toys and is affectionate. She does need ongoing socialising and basic manners training. But Jack Russells make marvelous companions as long as you are aware of their characters.
So Gemma needs a home where her people have had some experience with terriers and their "attitude", another dog is fine too.
