About Roxy
Hello poppets, my name is Roxy.
I was surrendered to BARC through no fault of my own, so here I am looking for my retirement home.
I am a gorgeous senior girl, but at the age of almost 14 I have still got plenty of love and affection in me. I would love to be a companion for someone who is a bit older, so that we are on the same level. No hustle and bustle for this gal, I mush prefer sunny window naps, day time soap operas and a good book or puzzle.
In my last home I was an inside/outside gal but for my safety in my older age it would be best for me to go to an indoor only home or one with a a nice outdoor enclosure. I am not suitable to be around children as I need my space and boundaries respected.
Because I am an older lass I have some dental work that is getting completed on the 11/07/2020 so I will need to stay here until I get those all fixed and minty fresh and then I will be able to move it.
I am a lovely old gal that deserves to find a loving home for my golden years, would you be willing to take a chance on me?
Call BARC on (03) 54412209 to book your essential meet and greet appointment.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
