About Captain
Poor Captain has had a very unlucky life. Through no fault of his own, he has had owners who have been only to happy to pass him on to someone else, when they feel like it.
Admittedly, I only know of the last two owners, but, here is his story as I know it......
Captain’s last owner surrendered him to me after having him for only three weeks, as she has cats, and Captain thinks all cats should be chased, as some terriers do. She didn’t feel able to put some work into both Captain and the cats, so contacted me. She had obtained him from a couple who had just bought a ‘designer dog’ - a Maltipoo, and didn’t want Captain any more.
Just beyond sad for this lovely boy. He has moved effortlessly into my home, and has behaved beautifully with the other dogs and pups here. He loves every human he meets, his tail is wagging continuously!
He has enjoyed being an inside/outside dog, coming and going as he wishes through the doggie door. He loves, loves, loves his walks on leash, and is learning quickly not to pull like a steam train. He is energetic and playful, and is just busting to have his own family, who will commit to him for the rest of his life. Captain has been wonderful around children, I think six years old and upwards would suit him best, as he is so super friendly, a toddler could get knocked over.
He also travels really well in the car.
PLEASE NOTE, our location is Moree, northern NSW. Check this out before you apply to adopt him, as you will need to drive to collect him should you be successful with your application.
Click on the Enquire about this Pet button, and tell me what you can offer this handsome chap. I need to know how long he would be alone during the day, if at all. Do you have other pets? Any children?
