Pepper is an awesome cheeky girl. Full of life and sassiness. She is obsessed with balls and as long as you have a ball in your hand then she is all yours. She will need someone who has a decent size yard. Throwing the ball is number one priority, and if you can’t throw that ball a fair distance then she’ll be really disappointed.
Pepper isn’t so great with other dogs. She was beat up in her previous home and now she’s pretty much done with other dogs and she’s sticking with humans. She loves to go walking and she’s good on the lead, she pulls a bit but that’s because she is a young healthy girl going places. She’s house trained and sleeps inside, and she doesn’t snore.
If you think Pepper is the one for you then please fill out an online application and tells us why. It’s important to be as comprehensive as possible and address her of her needs.
A message from her carer
“ She’s had a good explore around and yesterday we took her to the beach again. We met some friends and one had their little girl. She was very gentle but generally didn’t pay too much attention as she didn’t have a ball! She likes water a lot - there are a few creeks around and she does like to get in them if she can, especially if we’ve just washed her! She also likes a brush. We think she’s looking a bit slimmer than she was. “

Here are some quick tips to make your APPLICATION stand out:
Include as many details as you can about your lifestyle, family, accommodation, and work. Here’s some first-hand feedback from our member rescue organisations about what they'd like to see in your applications:
🐱 Why would this animal suit your home? (This lets them know that you've read the pet’s bio and considered their personality vs. your lifestyle)
🐾 Details about your family
🏡 Is your home quiet/relaxed or loud/busy? (Particularly important for timid cats)
Fill out the profiles of your current pets if you have any. Understanding the personality of resident cats and dogs will help rescue organisations or foster carers determine if the pet will adjust to your surroundings.
Remember to be respectful and kind in your enquiries. A simple greeting can go a long way! Behind that screen is a real hooman, who loves and cares for the pet you're enquiring about just as much as you will!
Be open and honest - rescues prefer having as much information as they can about potential adopters.
