About Teebo
Teebo is a beautiful little boy who is starting to thrive after having a bad start to life. He was dumped outside a vet clinic with his siblings in a severely emaciated state. A high-quality diet and some TLC has seen him be transformed physically. Teebo’s socialisation and training has been delayed but he is making progress under the guidance of his foster carers. His new family will need to be committed to continuing his development with positive social experiences and appropriate training. Working with a recommended trainer or behaviouralist would be ideal.
Teebo LOVES attention and will follow you around the house to see what you are up to. He is a sweet boy who likes to be a lap dog and get all the pats and cuddles you will give him. Teebo started off very nervous to meet new people, but has built his confidence in meeting visitors that come to the home. He now greets most visitors with a waggy tail to say hello and is getting more relaxed with seeing people outside the home. He still barks nervously at some people or other dogs outside the home but will go over to sniff them when they get closer and find everything is ok. Teebo will be best suited to a quieter home environment as he gets a little overwhelmed with lots of hustle and bustle!
This lovely boy is a character around the house with his playful and cute personality. He loves to chat to himself when he plays and will even try talking at you if he wants something! Teebo enjoys going off to explore the yard and enjoys playing with his siblings or other known doggie friends. The other things he loves is food and he brings out the smarts to get the treats – he can come to his name, sit, stay and will wait for his dinner. Teebo is learning how to chill out by himself or with another dog in the yard without people for short periods of time. His new family need to be willing to continue his toilet training. He is progressing and will go on command when taken outside but still doesn’t often choose to go outside by himself. Teebo is also slowly building up exercise with very short lead walks and play time at home. In the future, he will need daily exercise and stimulation to keep him healthy and happy throughout his life.
Please do not apply if you do not have another dog at home or are a novice dog owner. We are looking for an experienced home for Teebo where he will be included as part of the family. He is going to need a home where someone is home most of the time AND another friendly and stable dog to be a positive role model who can also be a playmate.
Teebo’s family must be committed to continuing his training and positive socialisation. A quieter home with stable routines and boundaries will benefit his development. He should be allowed inside to be with the family and will need a warm bed to sleep on inside at night. Teebo has not been exposed to cats or other types of pets but with appropriate introductions and guidance he should be able to learn to coexist with them. As he is suited to a quieter home environment, a childless home is recommended.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
