About Boss
Boss is a gorgeous 18 month old mini Aussie Bulldog
This gorgeous little man has faced more challenges in his short life than most dogs do in their whole life.
Boss is deaf, has had an eye removed due to a previous injury, and has surgery on his remaining eye due to cherry eye.
Despite these challenges nothing has stopped this little guy from being an absolute love bug !
Boss is enjoying playing with another small breed dog and enjoys visiting each of his foster carers families beds at night for a snuggle.
Boss is currently hanging out with another small breed dog and loves it! They have developed a beautiful friendship where she will help him with his hearing and sight and in return he is the one that can make any human cave and give them treats, kisses and cuddles.
We will be requiring Boss to go to a home with another dog so that this sort of friendship can continue and Boss can continue to blossom.
Boss is great with kids – there is not one person big or small that Boss doesn’t meet that doesn’t fall in love with him or him give cuddles too – we tell you – he’s a love bug!
Boss is used to sleeping inside with his fur sibling, yep anywhere they really want (couch, dog bed, human beds) and that is something he will want to continue with.
Boss is toilet trained and has lovely manners – he is also learning sign language and hand signals (and of course following his fur siblings lead).
Being deaf does not stop Boss from having a zest for life and he makes anyone who meets him, heart melt
** Please note applications will close Tuesday 4th August 2020 at 5.30pm

Medical notes
Please note Boss is deaf.
Boss is learning how to communicate via hand commands (and watching what his fur siblings do)
Adoption details
Paw Prints Canine Rescue is a non for profit dog rescue located in Southeast Queensland.
All our dogs leave our care with full vet work (up-to-date vaccinated, microchipped, desexed, heart worm and intestinal wormed and flea treated).
Please note - They will not leave for their new homes until they are 12 weeks of age and have been desexed, micro-chipped and vaccinated up to date.
Please note - we are not a pound or have kennels - all our dogs stay in foster carers homes and therefore dogs are not able to be simply viewed - only approved applicants will meet the dogs.
We can also be found at https://www.facebook.com/pawprintscanine/
Complete the following adoption enquiry link

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
If applying to adopt one of our furbabies over the age of 6 months we recommend that you bring to the meet and greet any of your furbabies to see how they interact.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 2 week trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $100) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption
AFTER THE TRIAL PERIOD
After the 2 week trial period is completed Paw Prints Canine will send out all relevant paperwork for your new furbaby.
