About Rexie (bonded with Bear)
PLEASE NOTE: Due to COVID-19 and travel being restricted, Rexie and Bear can only be adopted in NSW or ACT.
Rexie is a four year old black and tan stock coated desexed female German Shepherd who is in care at Kurri Kurri, NSW.
Rexie and her partner in crime Bear (four year old full black Shepherd) are a bonded pair and as such must go to a home together.
Rexie is a shy gentle natured female shepherd who needs a calm and caring owner who will allow her time to gain trust and be a confident dog. Bear is the more confident and out going shepherd and he is very protective of Rexie.
This bonded pair are fully house trained and are gentle natured shepherds. Both are in excellent health.
It is recommended that Rexie and Bear go to a home as the only dogs. They have not been tested with cats or pocket pets.
Bear's profile can be seen here: https://www.petrescue.com.au/listings/807463

Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
