Dear sweet Archie is quite a nervous boy. He needs a quiet calm person or family, someone who not really needing a dog to go to the dog park, just a dog who is a home body, preferring his family to strangers.
Archie is loving and loyal, he loves hikes, swimming and adventure as long as itās just him and his human.
Archie is fine with older kids , but small unpredictable humans , that run around and scream, arenāt his cup of tea.
If you think you are that special person that Archie needs then please submit an awesome application and tell us why.
We are really looking for someone with experience in nervous dogs, someone with a plan to help Archie. Someone open to ongoing training. Youāll need to include this in your application.

Here are some quick tips to make your APPLICATION stand out:
Include as many details as you can about your lifestyle, family, accommodation, and work. Hereās some first-hand feedback from our member rescue organisations about what they'd like to see in your applications:
š± Why would this animal suit your home? (This lets them know that you've read the petās bio and considered their personality vs. your lifestyle)
š¾ Details about your family
š” Is your home quiet/relaxed or loud/busy? (Particularly important for timid cats)
Fill out the profiles of your current pets if you have any. Understanding the personality of resident cats and dogs will help rescue organisations or foster carers determine if the pet will adjust to your surroundings.
Remember to be respectful and kind in your enquiries. A simple greeting can go a long way! Behind that screen is a real hooman, who loves and cares for the pet you're enquiring about just as much as you will!
Be open and honest - rescues prefer having as much information as they can about potential adopters.
