About Jazzy
Do you need more greyhound in your life? If the idea of a sweet, affectionate 'couch potato' of a dog sharing your home sounds greyt then the answer might be greyhound adoption.
Hi I'm Jazzy. I'm a fun, playful 3 year old greyhound with a gorgeous silky fawn coloured coat. As an ex-racing dog I am only newly becoming familiar with what it is to be a family pet. I feel like all my dreams are beginning to come true and am loving the domesticated couch potato lifestyle! Yes, we're definitely a FAST breed when we want to be, but we're not overly active and would suit a small home/yard quite easily. I do love my daily walks and am great on a lead, I have a keen interest in kangaroos and rabbits so would be no good off-lead or around small animals.
I'm a very intelligent girl and continue to learn new commands quickly - I have adapted to the family home without any difficulties and will follow you around from room to room (maybe this will change when I settle in a bit more). One of my favourite parts of my new life is all the cuddles, getting up on the couch with you for a daily snuggle - I don't think this will ever get old.
I am used to car trips and love going for a ride, especially if its on the way to the beach for a nice long walk on the sand. I would suit a household with another large dog, as a mentor for my ongoing adjustment training and confidence. I am a special girl and would make a great family pet as long as I am kept on a lead for any adventures.
If you've got room in your heart (and on your couch) are passionate about giving dogs like me the second chance we've been dreaming of - please get in touch with the adoption volunteers and organise to meet me.-
