About Perseus
Meow-Meow, my name is Perseus and I'm feeling a little lost at the moment. I'm a 5 year old ginger tabby who was found on the street in a residential area and brought to Cat Haven in the hope my owners would find me. I'm now in foster and everything is still a bit strange and new.
My first night in the foster room was very scary, I would cry when on my own, but was happy when anyone would visit and come offering pats and food, so my foster mum moved me into a playpen in the lounge room so I could hang out with my new foster family, which made me much happier.
I'm a very friendly boy who just loves company, my foster mum hopes that once I'm settled in a new home and feeling less scared I won't need to keep calling out for a friend. I enjoy being petted and scratched and will happily sit with you and sleep on your bed, but will squeeze under the couch when I need some time out. As I'm still in the settling in stage in my foster home I can be a little noisy at night, but will usually settle if you give me cuddles and reassurance.
I've settled in well with my dominant foster brother and have very little interest in the resident dog, though I'm quite keen to get to know the chickens in the back yard a little better. I will eat anything you offer me as if it's the last meal I will ever see, so have no special diet requests and to me all food is a treat.
Can you offer me a home where I can learn to feel safe again?
Adoption details
Just browse some of the photos of our beautiful cats available for adoption or come to our shelter in Shenton Park to meet our many beautiful kitties.
Please be aware that the cats featured on this page represent only a very small portion of the total number of beautiful felines we have available for adoption. We do not include any of our kittens on this page, as the turnover for youngsters is simply too high to keep up-dating, but we always have many beautiful kittens looking for homes!
Also many of our cats and kittens are currently staying in temporary foster homes out in the community but are still looking for a loving home, so please call Cat Haven in advance if you want to make arrangements for a meeting with a foster cat.
